ABOUT STEVE
Steve Rogers is a United Methodist pastor. He is currently appointed to
two different places of service. He serves part time as a General Evangelist in the Northwest
Texas Annual 
Conference,
leading revivals and teaching Bible Conferences. He also serves part
time as the Assistant Pastor at Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Lubbock,
Texas..
Steve served churches in Northwest Texas for 11 years, then felt a call to a specialized teaching ministry in 1990. After traveling as an evangelist full time for 12 years, he was appointed half time as assistant pastor at Aldersgate United Methodist Church in addition to his evangelistic work.
Steve has led revivals and taught Bible Conferences in dozens of area churches. A major source of his financial needs comes through offerings when he preaches and gifts from individuals.
Steve's wife, Denise, teaches Head Start (4 year olds) in the Lubbock Independent School District. His son Nathan works in the computer services department at Texas Tech University and Joshua is a college student. Josh has received a scholarship to study in Japan for the next several years.
Steve and Denise both grew up in Borger, Texas and married in 1975. Steve graduated from Texas Christian University and Asbury Theological Seminary. The family enjoys spending time together as a family - which they have to work into Steve's travel schedule.
